Fishing Boats

After your safety briefing from one of our friendly crew members, head out into the Mandurah canals to see the stunning scenery and have an enjoyable time with your family and friends. Cruise around and keep your eyes open for dolphins or find the perfect spot for fishing or crabbing.

All of our boats are easy to use. We’re sure you’ll have a wonderful time exploring the waterways around Mandurah with one of our boat hires. Please also note that these vessels may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. They require 2 steps down and there isn't a handrail. We'd highly recommend a pontoon for those who need an easier boarding experience.

• Can hold a maximum of 6 passengers including children and infants.
• Designed for fishing and crabbing.
• Does not have clears on the sides for weather protection but does have a roof.
• Aluminium deck designed to be easily washed off.

The passenger limit of the vessel is 6 people and is a legal capacity that includes adults, children and infants over 12 months and cannot be exceeded. There are no exceptions.

• Jacket, as it can get cold on the water

You will need to arrive at least 15 minutes before your allocated hire time to check in at the office and complete your liability waiver. You can also complete the waiver online before the day using the link in your confirmation email. On busy days, please allow additional time as there can sometimes be a queue in the office.

Once you head down to the jetty you will be given a 15 minute safety briefing this is part of your hire time. This may be reduced if you've watched our Safety Video and have been deemed competent by our staff. Please ensure you return back at the jetty before the end of the hire time and have all your belongings together ready to disembark. Late returns will be charged.

Example Schedule

You have a 2 hour booking starting at 10am. You arrive at our office at 9:45am and complete the liability waiver and check-in for your experience. You head down the jetty at 10am and start the safety induction and once deemed competent you depart our jetty around 10:15am. You then arrive back at the jetty at 11:55, take 5 minutes to disembark and remove your belongings. The hire is complete at 12pm.

• No skipper’s ticket or boat drivers license is required when the boat is hired during day time
• All boats have adult life jackets aboard and kids life jackets are handed out at the end of the safety briefing.
• There is no smoking allowed on any of the boats
• There are no toilets aboard.
• You can fish and crab of this boat if you have a permit to fish off a boat.

• You can not operate any vessel while intoxicated. Zero tolerance.
• You are not allowed to swap over passengers at our jetty during your hire.
• No towing of any kind including other vessels and waterskis

We offer an excess waiver for $20 per day which covers you for all accidental damage up to $5,000. The excess waiver is optional however if you choose not to pay the excess waiver we'll ask you to pay a bond of $200 as security and you'll be liable for all damage up to $10,000 to cover any potential damage caused to the vessel or third party property.

You can see a list of potential damages in the Terms & Conditions. The bond can be paid in cash or will be pre-authorised against your credit card and will be returned within 24-48hrs of the end of your hire. Sometimes the original transaction will disappear rather than a credit appearing.
